June 6th, 1944. D-Day Landings. U.S. Army soldiers descend upon Omaha Beach. The Liberty Ships drop off the historic all-terrain vehicles. Committed soldiers, full of adrenaline and focused on freedom, at the controls. The Battlefield evokes this “land force,” this mechanical engineering vital for winning the war. At the forefront, the D-Day model has a sand-khaki dial marked with the national emblem of the U.S. Army, the white star.
